Explore different types of indidvidual major medical plans.  PPO plans with Co-Pays, High Deductible, HSAs, Short Term (30 days to 1 year) plans, Student Select Plans for College Students.  You can quote different plans.  Build plan you want by changing specific benefits such as deductibles, doctors office copays, maximum out of pocket limits, etc.  See how these adjustments affect your quote. 

If you are looking for value, I suggest the Right Start Plan (brochure) or Core Med Plan (brochure) and add the Suite Solutions Select (brochure) .  This gives you the low cost of a high deductible while providing the benefit of $100 or $250 deductible benefit for up to #10,000 expenses due to accidental injury plus a disability benefit and more.  Suite Solutions Select also provides a lump sum benefit for diagnosis of a covered Critical Illness.  The combination of these plans gives you a comprehensive plan at a lower cost.  

 I would also suggest you use standard rates for a realistic quote unless you have taken no prescription drugs in the past few years and have had no medical history.
